Hi there. Here it is, Wannabe Worldwide's first production - a music video. Check out the Jukebox to listen to the song 'Language of my Reality', which is what we are working on. More details here soon... join us!

Now, here's the icing on the cake: If you liked the song and are really interested in collaboration, here's a Wannabe Studios Project that you can be part of:
Language of my reality - the song that you are listening to (or will listen to), will be made a music video for a total run time of approx 3min. I need ten people to give me footage. Interesting? Interested?

Why are we doing this again?
This video will be part of the promotion for Wannabe Studios dot org, which is scheduled to be launchedon 29 February 2008 this summer. (The dates have been revised due to some changes in the master plan. But don't worry, you are an insider here and you'll be among the first to know of whatever significant happens.)
What's this dot org? What will happen to this network?
Details cannot be revealed at the moment. Development is on in the background. But I can tell you that it will redefine certain dynamics of our industry. It will be the start of something new. This network will continue as it is and will be the social extension of the dot org. The hang out. They will be interlinked but as completely separate entities.
OK. What's in it for me?

The Film Movement subscription for anyone who gives you footage?
No. One each for the first 10 members who supply the footage, subject to certain guidelines/quality requirements. Guidelines for the footage (technical details, IP matters etc will be posted in the Group boards).
What if I don't make the first 10? Don't you want my footage? Nothing for me?
If you are not in the first 10 and would still like to supply footage, please do so. But you will have to settle for the credit and fame.
Okay... I don't think I'll be able to get you any footage. Is there anything else I could do to help?
Yes. Please visit the test page at Wannabe Studios dot org, click on the 'play' button, view the video in 'full screen' mode and let me know what you thought about the quality of the full-screen film.
Give your rating (on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is poor and 5 is best. 3 is average) for:
a. Speed
b. Smoothness
c. Picture Clarity
(please also mention your connection speed at which you were connected while watching the promo)
Ok, will do. Do I get the subscription for doing that?
We would love to, but we don't have the budget to do that at the moment. We'll think up some surprise for you though :-)

images expressed, the distinctions between
my experience of moments of illegality
and the slanted views of they mean.
to me it’s about the choices we’re making,
the lives we're leading,
and the futures we’re creating
we are a generation raised on media
an image nation that sees the biased news, the many truths,
and yeah, buys sweatshop shoes
whose stories are being told,
whose stories are still owned by the ten o’clock blues?
and whose stories am I telling in my privileged shoes?
white, hippy, suburban, family, business, pharmaceutical industry,
dollars and stress, and love
that paid my way, sourced my days.
you see if we want to move forward
we need to acknowledge and build on the past.
so whether we shoot, or speak, or edit, or click through media,
we choose the direction of his encyclopedia, his story
which is becoming our story,
as we gain the power to lead the interpretation,
license the information, and
be the strategic communication
that hears competing views
and reconstructs the worlds’ truths.
I say that I'm a strong and powerful leader for love and freedom,
but behind the fear and the confusion
and the judgement and the stess
I see fighting images of beats and breath.
yes, things seem to be breaking down,
from church boy confessions and corporate transgressions,
to tommy and grandma getting sued as a copyright lesson,
and quote “men of peace” using solders and weapons,
yes these are the days of break down, break through
a time of forgiveness, to begin again,
truth and reconciliation
yes I am speaking the language of my reality,
