The idiot box. the boob-tube. couch potatoes?? Has TV been given a fair shake as a viable medium? Check out the new entry to Eric Bumpus' blog, as part of CeaseFireStrategies, and give TV another chance: http://www.ceasefirestrategies.net/viewtopic

I love it, Shyam!! :) In my bio though (p4), the title for the second book is still the wrong title. Instead of "We Support You, Love America"; it should be "We Support You: Letters of Encouragement for Our Troops Serving In Iraq and Afghanistan".…

About Me/Us (In a nutshell):
CeaseFireStrategies is a Christian media organization that encourages and trains for positive Christian involvement in media and culture. Our mission began by calling a cease fire to the culture wars, interacting with culture, and realizing "our war is not against flesh and blood"... (Eph 6:18).

The CFS diplomatic strategy was formed from the themes and ideas presented in a book, written by Eric Bumpus and Tim Moranville, entitled "Cease Fire, the War is Over!", published in 2005 by Xulon Press.

Tim as in California Yanqui :-)

Shall write to Mikel. Let's see where Rough Cut goes - these ventures have a mind of their own sometimes! I didn't want it to be a totally 'syndicated' newsletter if you get what I mean That's why I haven't gone ahead with just what we have at the moment.

Let's wait a li'l while longer - as usual, people need to be pushed and prodded before they take some action. Maybe I should offer some goodies in return? Hmmm...

Btw, good to know Vegas is looking up already. It's showtime!

Sorry about that Eric - I made a mistake. I meant Onan, not Rough Cut! I was responding to someone about Onan and replied to you while I was at it. Rough Cut is still only roughly cut. No one seems interested in it, except us and Tim. Looks like it isn't time yet - just like that ill-fated music video project that is in development hell :-)

It was completed sometime back, Eric. Working on distribution and release now. How's Vegas looking? :-)

Got the link. Took the hint ;-)

Never had heard of infibeam before this. Did you find them or vice versa? Interesting!

Superb show with Dan Merchant, Eric. I like the clarity with which you guys articulated a lot of issues that we brush aside as 'Oh, that'...

Keep going, CFS!

I am on my Linux (Ubuntu) machine (and Opera) right now, and it is showing up OK. You always seem to have the strangest combination of technical difficulties here... we may have to contact the monkeys at Ning if things get out of hand :-)
