A brand new AG HVX 200P :-)

It arrived the day before we started shooting, in fact. It was crazy - we just took it out of the box and started shooting! This interview was recorded at the end of the schedule though.

Ah the memories...

Looking back, our time in India really was a great experience. We were speaking from the heart.

Shyam- I love your slick new opening title sequence, and am intrigued to see you calling this "part one". Your camera technique truly does keep it interesting: moving from close-up to two-shot and back again without ever cutting. Good work!

I've now watched this interview multiple times, and it ain't getting dull: you clearly have a director's knack for bringing the best out of people. I have also made a copy of that B&W still, and intend to treasure it.

Shanon- you are such a marvellous flatterer! The admiration, I can assure you, is mutual.

Dawn- I've been thinking how much life imitated art.

Davonie- Inspired by shyam's new toy, I priced the Sony equivalent here: a PMW-EX1, which I intend to buy when next I have a spare 9 or 10 grand. Amazing machine!

The EX1... yesssss. It just gets better and better. Sometimes I think we'll soon end up with film itself :-)

Dave, it is only part one! Remember? We had at least 3 parts to the 'interview series'... Well, I'm cutting it up into 3-4 parts anyway, hee hee.

By the way, Dave, what do you think of the quality of the frame grabs? This one I sharpened ever so slightly, I must admit. But very very finely.
